Spencer Cramer

Spencer Cramer co-founded ei3  in 1999 to bring secure Internet technologies to manufacturing.  Since then, Spencer has built ei3 into an award winning leader in the Industrial Internet of Things. As Chief Executive Officer he provides leadership, vision and sets ei3‘s strategy.  With 25 years of experience in creating and managing technology companies, Spencer’s track record of success comes from his ability to inspire innovation.  He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia.

Mark Goldberg

In addition to ei3 Dr. Mark Goldberg serves on the board of SynCardia, the world’s only manufacturer of the total artificial heart, and is the Director of new project development at Tucson Medical Center.  Past board positions include Global Solar Corporation and MicroMed Cardiovascular Technologies. His experience with early and mid-stage companies provides ei3 with valuable guidance.  He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and completed his cardiology training at the University of Arizona.  He also maintains a private practice in cardiology.

Sheldon Hirt

In addition to ei3, Sheldon Hirt is the Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Progenics a company focused on developing innovative drugs to improve the lives of prostate cancer patients and their families. Prior to joining Progenics Mr. Hirt was Senior Vice President, Legal Affairs and Assistant General Counsel at Actavis plc (now Allergan plc), where he worked from 2009 through July 2015 in positions of increasing responsibility in the legal department. From 2006 to 2009, Mr. Hirt served as Vice President and Chief Corporate Counsel at Barr Pharmaceuticals, Inc. From 2001 to 2006, he was Senior Counsel in the Johnson & Johnson Corporate legal group. Mr. Hirt began practicing law as a corporate associate at the law firm of Davis Polk & Wardwell in the firm’s New York and Frankfurt, Germany offices. He has an A.B. degree from Columbia College, an M.A. from the Columbia School of International and Public Affairs and a J.D. from the Columbia University School of Law. Prior to his graduate studies, Mr. Hirt served as an infantry officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, including in Operation Desert Shield, ground combat operations in Operation Desert Storm, and Operation Sharp Edge, the evacuation of non-combatant personnel from Liberia.

Christopher Sapka

Christopher Sapka has focused his career within the technology sector and has more than 20 years of experience within the professional services industry.  Currently Mr. Sapka is CFO at Talener Group, LLC, an IT staffing and recruitment firm.  His prior experience includes serving as the CFO for Axon Solutions, Inc. a publicly traded global business transformation consultancy and SAP integrator, until its acquisition by HCL Technologies in 2008.   Mr. Sapka is specialized in accounting systems development, fiscal management and financial reporting and has significant experience providing financial guidance in relation to mergers and acquisitions, particularly with respect to due diligence, deal pricing, structure and integration.  Mr. Sapkais a Certified Public Account and attended New York University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Stern School of Business.
