Ei3’s M2M connectivity provides a powerful network to build remote monitoring businesses. Monitoring devices in an enterprise requires M2M connectivity with the sophistication to meet complex security requirements. Ei3’s M2M connectivity is based upon our extensive experience in networking and has been successfully installed in many highly secure environments.
Allowing remote service technicians to access devices and equipment can save a lot of money. But many times these service technicians work for an outside company, or a “Third Party”. Creating and controlling third party access within a corporate networking environment is a complex M2M networking challenge. Ei3’s M2M connectivity solution solves this by providing a secure method to control and log third party access to devices while at the same time blocking access to all other resources. This proven method enables organizations to allow their trusted suppliers to provide virtual troubleshooting and diagnostic activities while maintaining the integrity of their corporate networks and privacy standards.
M2M connectivity opens new doors to provide online services. But keeping track of things such as services being provided, the equipment online, configuring sites, provisioning new devices, or billing can hold an organization back. Managing an M2M network is made easy using Ei3’s Platform-as-a-Service. Delivered online through the web, Ei3’s M2M platform provides authorized administrators with a comprehensive connectivity management tool. Devices within a global install base are easily provisioned because of the seamless integration with Ei3’s Amphion network appliances. Applications, and services provided are also managed through the administration tools. The Ei3 components all work together to provide network administrators with a powerful and highly secure method to manage their M2M connectivity.

Wireless M2M Connectivity
[divider_spacing]
Wireless Machine-to-Machine connectivity is revolutionizing the way business gets done. Wireless connectivity is a perfect solution for M2M because it provides fast and powerful device connections that are free from the constraints found in wired networking. Ei3 works with Verizon to bring the many benefits of wireless networking to its portfolio of services. Verizon has the nation’s largest 4G Lte network, with more 4G Lte coverage than all other networks combined. All of Ei3’s M2M applications and solutions can run on the Verizon wireless network making it easy to create and deploy a remote monitoring network across the country. For international applications Ei3 can work with local wireless networking providers to provide turnkey global M2M solutions.

Wired Internet Access
If your M2M enabled devices will be permanently located in a place where Wifi or wired internet access is available, then wired M2M connectivity might be a preferred solution. Ei3’s wired M2M solution provides a security framework that is compatible with corporate networks. Ei3’s two tier Amphion networking architecture makes it possible to deploy a secure M2M solution behind corporate firewalls. Most M2M applications have bandwidth requirements that can be accommodated within the existing internet service provider agreements. For special cases where custom networking solutions need to be created, Ei3 has networking engineers on staff who can design, furnish and maintain advanced solutions that are fully integrated with all of the Ei3 applications.
